If What your used to finding falls into one of the above categories, you are blessed with a gift, congratulations. We sell used auto parts, used auto parts that are in most cases over 25 years old. If somebody is telling you it is a "MINT SHAPE", "CHERRY", "PERFECT" or "FLAWLESS" part they are most likely over exaggerating.

You would be surprised by the amount of requests we get for "MINT SHAPE" parts. We feel we are the best in the classic vehicle salvage business, and we got that way by by not trying to sell something for what it isn't.

When People look at the size of our yard and the collection of classics we have assembled, it's easy to assume that classic automobiles are plentiful in AZ. NOT TRUE! It may be compared to where you are from but It takes a lot of digging, manpower, patience, determination & money to assemble and maintain a yard of this size and nature. (It helps to have a quality staff & a love for what you do.) The demand is growing and the supply is drying up......It is just not as simple to find quality parts as it was a few years ago.

So What Is Clean......

Clean Is...

Rust-Free....in terms of rot through or holes in the metal. ( Come on, don't ask if our parts are free from any surface rust. We know that if you, or your restoration shop did a bit of sanding on our parts before hanging & painting them, it not only would remove the surface rust, but it just might make your car turn out better.)

No Major Body Damage.... A part that has been in a major collision is obviously not clean.

Only A Few Hours Cleanup.... A part that you will need less than a few hours hammer and dolly and/or prep. for paint. This may be due to small "parking lot" dings that all cars get over time.

Minimal Filler.... If any at all, it should only have a light layer of body filler. Remember back when cars were made out of real metal, they came from the factory with small amounts of filler here and there.

An Opinion.... Something you may feel is an 8 we might judge a 6. It may be junk to you, and worth a lot to us. We get the requests everyday, it becomes apparent what is rare and what isn't. It also become apparent what parts on what vehicles were prone to rust, damage, or general wear. If we have a part that wasn't in the greatest condition, but was rare and repairable we will let you know.
