We often get request for hard to find parts that we now offer to recondition or “recon”. Process is simple, Tommy body man will take the time to hand sand each fender to bare metal, fix the repairs, etch prime and seal. Then all the customer has left to do is of the fine tuning and she is ready to paint. In most all case we only provide this work on fenders that need it. In other words all fenders (like this example) will have rust and dents. Nothing to major. All the rust is removed and new metal is welded in, in most cases Tommy does such a good job with his welds that if we didn’t show you, you might not ever know….yep, he is that good : )
The rest his of the work is all done by hand so the process can take a few weeks to work in with the day to day stuff. As of today all we have left on this one is some wet sand and then sealer then its good to go
