73-7 Steering columns are one of the things that when buying used builders hope for the best but aren’t prepared for reality. We can’t say we do not have them cause almost every vehicle we have still has them in place. But for us, in the nice hot, dry climate of Az with the windows rolled up its 120 degrees in the cars and while sure internal parts may not be in the direct sun, trust us it all drys out. “cant you just hand check switch’s” well of course but we have had it happen while it will engage and perform nice when we pull it, after real use in a car then things break or fail. All we are trying to do is be up front with what it is we can offer. When it comes to body panels, trim and anything that is not effected by our climate there is no one better, but for things that can be effective all we can offer are parts to rebuild. So in ending columns are sold as a core, we simply unbolt it from the car and off it goes.
